Power Morphicon is the largest convention devoted to Power Rangers and the only one officially recognized. Started in 2007, Power Morphicon takes place in Southern California every two years. The Official Power Morphicon Convention just announced a traveling version, Power Morphicon Express. Power Morphicon Express will visit multiple cities and be led by Ranger superstar the one and only Jason David Frank. Power Morphicon Express will hit the road in 2019 with its first stop scheduled in Pasadena, Texas.

"We are going to give back to the community by charitable events. Also, I’ll be running the first time how to be a Power Ranger acting class,” said Jason David Frank.

Power Morphicon Express will give fans the opportunity to meet a collection of their favorite Power Rangers actors, hear them speak in panels, buy incredible merchandise in the vendor hall, and see Power Rangers inspired art by local artists. Power Morphicon Express attendees might even get the chance and for those wanna be Power Rangers to see Jason David Frank perform a few Power Rangers moves, learn from the master himself and hear what it really means to be a Power Ranger. It's going to be a con you won't want to miss out on!!!

POWER RANGERS: THE MOVIE

The 2017 Power Rangers movie wasn't the first Power Rangers movie to make its big debut. There have been other Power Rangers starting back in 1995 when the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers finally got their stride and took on Ivan Ooze. Throughout all the Power Rangers between 1995 and 2017 there has never been a standalone Power Rangers origin movie that you didn't have to know the Power Rangers story to understand the movie.

That's where the Power Rangers 2017 movie succeeded at creating a standalone Power Rangers origin story. Because it was an adaptation of the series set in the 21th century timeline there was a lot of things the writers could change and change them they did. From the classic one piece Power Rangers suits to the Rita Repulsa herself, there was a lot of things the diehard fans didn't like about the movie and there were a few things that made the movie better than just a classic Power Rangers movie. The 2017 Power Rangers even got a few notable Power Rangers veterans to make an appearance in the movie at the very end which made it a little bit more special for the fans that loved watching the classic Mighty Morphin Power Rangers series.

Many believed with the less than excitement turnout for the Power Rangers movies that they wouldn't make a sequel to the 2017 movie but just announced a few days ago that Lionsgate is going to be making a sequel to the 2017 Power Rangers movie. So we finally get a chance to see who they cast for Tommy and a chance to for them fix all the things they got wrong with the first movie in the second movie and hopefully create a third installment to finish off the trilogy.
